Overview
Netcraft is a global cybersecurity leader helping the world’s biggest brands detect phishing attacks, disrupt cybercrime, and access advanced threat intelligence.
They decided to move their website from WordPress to Framer and redesign it to better showcase their product and services - while keeping SEO, performance, and their marketing setup intact.
The design was handled in-house. I worked on Framer development alongside Maxime Vandenberge and Dylan Campbell, collaborating closely with Netcraft’s marketing and design teams.
The challenge
This was a large and fairly complex migration. The site included:
~70 static pages
Multiple CMS collections
Around 1,300 CMS items
An established marketing stack
Strong existing SEO performance that needed to be preserved
The main goal was to move to Framer without introducing risk, regressions, or extra maintenance overhead for the team - so they could move faster and without needing to go through a developer for every change.
My role
As the lead Framer developer, I was responsible for the Framer implementation and migration, with a focus on SEO continuity, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
This included:
Building the site in Framer and migrating ~70 static pages and 10 CMS collections from Figma with a pixel-perfect, responsive setup
Migrating content from WordPress, including ~1,300 blog posts, case studies, guides, and news articles, with selective pruning for SEO
Ensuring SEO performance wouldn’t drop during or after the migration
Integrating the full marketing stack (HubSpot forms, analytics, cookie consent, gated content, and supporting scripts)
Training the internal team so they could confidently manage and update the site in Framer post-launch
Outcome
The site launched successfully on Framer with no SEO regression
Content and CMS structures are now easier to manage and scale
The marketing team can independently maintain the site
The new site better reflects Netcraft’s positioning and product maturity
Timeline: ~2 months
