Overview
Flow provides modern engineering teams with a requirements tool built specifically for their workflows, helping them focus on building better products.
They decided to migrate their marketing site 1:1 from Contentful to Framer to be able to iterate faster and give the team full control over updates — without needing a developer for every change.
I worked as their Framer developer, leading the migration and implementation.
The challenge
The goal was not a redesign, but a clean and reliable platform switch. The site needed to:
Match the existing design and structure exactly
Preserve SEO and performance during the migration
Remain fast and accessible despite a fairly complex homepage
Be easy for the team to update and extend after launch
My role
I handled the full migration and Framer implementation, with a focus on accuracy, performance, and best practices.
This included:
Rebuilding the site in Framer, migrating the existing Contentful setup 1:1, including 35+ static pages and 75+ CMS items
Ensuring the site followed SEO, performance, and accessibility best practices
Optimizing homepage performance using techniques such as
fetchpriority, preloading, font subsetting, and a custom lazy-loading override for the slideshowProviding 30 days of post-launch support to handle questions, fixes, and small improvements after go-live
Outcome
A successful 1:1 migration from Contentful to Framer
Improved performance on the homepage
A setup that allows the team to iterate quickly without developer support
No disruption to SEO or site structure
